    • Don’t’ Fall for Fake Job Offers
      A recent email scam has been reported in which the culprit sends an email offering a “work from home” or “part-time job offer.” These malicious attackers are hoping that students are eager to find a part-time job to make a few hundred dollars a week. Meanwhile these cyber criminals are working to steal their private information and their money. For more information about this scam, check out the News and Alerts at www.duq.edu/safe-computing.
    • History Forum: The Times and Spaces of 1968 - Oct. 24
      The Department of History will hold its 52nd Annual History Forum. This year, the event will be held in Duquesne University's Africa Room at 7 p.m. Dr. Julian Bourg, Associate Professor and Associate Dean of the Core at Boston College will present "The Times and Spaces of 1968".
    • McGinley Rice Symposium - Oct. 25 - 26
      The School of Nursing’s 9th annual McGinley-Rice Symposium returns to view the world through the eyes of the person who has been trafficked. Registration is open for Exploring Social Justice for Vulnerable Populations: The Face of the Person who has been Trafficked, which will be held Thursday, Oct. 25, and Friday, Oct. 26, in the Power Center. Current Duquesne faculty, staff and students can register for no cost at duq.edu/social-justice.
    • Moral Injury and the Role of Community in the Veteran's Homecoming - Nov. 2
      This one-day conference aims to address this by bringing together mental health professionals, veterans, civilians, and students to highlight the community's essential role in the homecoming of the veteran.
    • Fall Flu Clinics
      Duquesne University Center for Pharmacy Care and Student Health Services will be hosting on-site flu clinics November 8 and December 12. The clinics will take place on the 2nd floor of the Student Union from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
